Hi, and welcome to GT Floorcoverings Ltd, We are a friendly local flooring company based in Taunton, Somerset covering all the surrounding areas.
Myself and My wife Karen established the business back in 2000, we are a real family-run flooring business. My name is Gary, and I’m the primary fitter; My Wife Karen is in the office, and our and 2 sons Kurtis (10 years experience) and Ross (13 years experience) are also full time fitters, and now our daughter Freya has joined the fitting side in the last couple years, as well as a couple of superb sub contractors make up the rest of the team. I’ve been in the trade for over 30 years
We offer a friendly, absolutely no pressure, reliable, cost effective and efficient service. We supply and fit all types of domestic and contract/commercial CARPET and VINYL flooring. Domestic flooring
Covering Taunton and Somerset and the surrounding areas, we offer an at-home selection service, where after an initial chat to see what you're looking for, we come to you with samples to view in your own home so you can see how your choice of flooring works with your own decor and lighting, furniture. We offer a COMPLETELY FREE no obligation price estimate, and never use high pressure sales techniques at all.
If you decide to use our service, brilliant - if not we simply collect the samples and say thankyou for the offer to quote.
Contract and commercial
Catering for housing associations, surgeries, offices, builders, schools etc, most of our client base have used us for many years, most notably King’s Hall school and King’s College. We have supplied and fitted the flooring to King’s Hall for over 20 years and are also main contractor at King’s College, as well as Bridgwater and Taunton College Bridgwater and Taunton sites.
Care and special needs homes
The Mainstay of our Business, We can supply and fit flooring that is suitable for care homes and similar facilities. All flooring is fitted quickly and efficiently, and we are able to offer expert advice on the most appropriate flooring for your requirements.
